I think growing and blooming Phrags has been the easiest most rewarding plant I've tried to date. Paphs do fine for me too, but the Phrags just go nuts. I have a nice Jason Fischer that's probably as compact as you're going to get in a Phrag, and it's fire engine red.
Compact multi-floral Paphs are a bit more difficult. I have a couple smaller sequential bloomers that might fit the bill. I have one that's been in bloom since Feb with no sign of stopping anytime soon. It's a Paph. liemianum. At most it will hold 2 flowers at a time. All the multi-florals I have seen that all open at once are huge.
