bad bad bad bad boy.... :(
Yes, I admit it, I have been a bad bad bad boy
I had promised not to order more orchids... and then I received a message: Finally, the first Orchids Online-shop in Switzerlarnd ★ Orchideenshop Luzerner Garten ★ (shipping only within Switzerland) and that from my favorite Orchids Nursery in CH so... I decided to have a look, and found they have that Paph I have been lookingfor since loooong looong loooong ago...
so, who could resist this beauty: IOSPE PHOTOS
and now.. Does anyone here has experience with this species? Any tips are more than welcome
as per the website, they just started on June, 1st and I think need to improve a couple of things, e.g. payment via Paypal or Credit Card would be excellent!!!

Oooo Ramon! Fairianum is so cute and little. I think Ross grows this one. Hopefully he'll see this and chime in.

Becca, give them a try with S/H try first with a cheap NOID you find and then you will get hooked... I started playing Maudiae NOIDs as I had never had good luck with them... As they showed to love S/H I bought some new ones... they also liked S/H, so I bought soem more... then I decdied to finally try with Phrags... well... you see...

I have a couple in s/h. One took right too it, one kind of struggled along and is finally making the turn around, and one must have gotten some weired bacterial problem as all the leaves turned rust red and dry, one by one, and then when the remaining two leaves got that way, I gave up on it (it was my Paph. delenatii). I have a few other paph's, but I am not sure if I want to risk them...lol. None in the s/h have bloomed or rebloomed for me.

Mine is a frequent bloomer. The only thing I noticed is the leaves (top of the fans) want to flop over. What I mean is, I need to prop up the fan till it gets firm enough to hold itself up. Once the spike starts out, the firmness is a given (it just grows). It has a really tall spike for the size of the flower, but is really cool! (It is really nice.) The lower petals do curl back like that. Nice plant you have and hope you post a picture when it blooms (I am sure it will - you do really well with your stuff).

Hi Ross, thanks for your input. I know what you mean with teh leaves flopping over... I have that with my Paph. Golden Acres X Helladero. After a while they become firm enough to stand by themselves...
as for the pics as soon as I get the plant blooming I will post the pics here
The nicest part of the story, is that I just had the team from Luzerner Garten on the Phone. It was the only plant Paphiopedilum fairrieanum they had for sale: first comes first takes and since I was one the very very first members of their homepage, they also offered me to send another plant as a present. I was jumping between Dendrobium laevifolium and Phalaenopsis wilsonii, but decided to try with the Dend
