Ross, check out this one.

I've seen this in person and it's drop dead gorgeous. It is a bit large. But the color!!!

I can personally vouch for Briggs Hill Orchids. Helene has wonderful plants and she is ever so nice. If you don't see what you're looking for email and ask if she has it. She has lots of Phrags which aren't even listed on the order page.

This is kind of off topic but since I know you like slippers and I know you like small, check out Paph. henryanum. It's a tiny plant with a beautiful flower. I thought of you the minute I saw it.

Thanks Dorothy. I have checked several places and books and as I said in the opening message I am aware the Paph insigne is the orange I am searching for. The only insigne I have found is a variety that is lemon yellow. I bookmarked a couple of the links you gave (thanks for those) but the lists are hard for me to deal with if they don't have photos.

Thanks Terri. I'll do some further checking later on today. Thanks for the suggestions.

Both Paphiopedilum gratrixianum and Paphiopedilum villosum have some nice orange coloration. Paphiopedilum helenae also has some orange coloration in it...
