Wow thats nice.....and I have one too just got lucky and have three babies from a friend who bought it at Shaws gardens in St Louis 5 or 6 years ago and had found the perfect spot in his house and it grew to a plant with 14 or 15 inch long leaves. Its never bloomed and he has just no patience and even with me begging him not to move it he placed it downstairs and the sun came through the door window and burned it horribly.I took over for a while and its regrown to almost the same size again, but with 6 new growths at the base.I was out of town for three weeks and he left it with the phals unde a tree where they do great and overwatered all month so now almost all the roots are gone but I cleaned it up and took three babies that were lose already with one or two new fresh roots for myself and placed the orignal in s/h to recover.LOL ......not the first time its been down to a single root on the mother either.I have rescued it a couple of times and it just gets bigger each time.He is getting better but hes much better with Dendrobiums and Phalenopsis.
Now that I have a start Ill be able to zone in on this one but Im starting it right now in s/h myself to see if that will do the trick and just thought you could give me a hint as to this ones habits.I think its multifloral but Don't know anything else and you seem to have this nailed right down from the looks of that great bloom.
