they dont like 100 degree heat I can tell ya that.
the budded ones all had to come in before they dropped all the flowers. I should have noticed sooner but I have not had any trouble in the past with the temps outdoors. This year has been rather harsh for man or animal.
There are a few hybrids with a particular parent that melts down over 90 deg.. Those are all inside along with some others that showed some signs of not being happy with the move.
the strap leafs dont need lots of light and the heat seems to bother them less. on the porch outside in 90% shaded western light for now. full morning sun of they can get any.
Plants are doing really good. They do better for me leaving them in the large bark mix with charcoal and sponge rock. Chunky airy mix from the greenhouse and I will keep them that way.
