Default Paph philippinense spike watch...

Here is the first spike on Paph philippinense. This one has been a very fast grower, making three new fans in the past two years. It's very cool watching the tentacles (?) unfold.

The first bud was deformed but the second one opened nicely! I do like the tentacle petals swaying around.

The petals (tentacles) are getting longer and twistier (I think that's a real word...) as the days go by. It's quite nice. I like it more than the roth (is that taboo to say?)
