Hi MFN! Thanks for asking. This one is sun-hardened a little bit ----- and I put it into a spot that allows it to receive fairly gentle direct sunlight for approximately 4 hours each day during the cooler times of the year (winter). It the sunlight from the first half of the day ----- morning to approximately mid-day. Fairly bright in the growing area most of the time during the day.

And during the warmer times of the year, I put the plant in a spot that doesn't get direct sunlight ----- indirect natural light, generally quite bright conditions.

Most welcome MFN! There was one time ----- where the summer sun got to the biggest leaf - which was relatively big (long and wide leaf) ------- and the sun made the leaf turn into a yellow colour. I assumed that the leaf was going to be history soon afterward. But when I pushed the plant into an area where the summer sun couldn't get to any part of the plant (with direct light that is) ------ the leaf just maintained a yellow colour for maybe a year and a half --- 18 months or so after that incident - no degradation at all - just stayed nice and yellow and looked good. It only faded away after that time period as it was the oldest leaf.

They can likely take a fair bit of sun once they've been through some sun-hardening, and maybe when they're big enough as well. I just allow the paph to get direct morning sun for a bit in the cooler times of the year.

I grow some smaller paphs and phrags with indirect sun ---- fairly bright conditions too. Thanks for mentioning your growing paphs too!!
