Default paph bellatulum

first time bloomer here. was sooooo happy that he finally gave me a big nice bloom. very slow to open though, ive been patiently waiting.

Just gorgeous! I've been drooling over this one for awhile now. Do you find these difficult to grow at all? I thought I read that somewhere. Thanks for sharing!

they're a little tempramental, but not too bad. i did better with him with low light (800fc), warm temps and a slight dry rest in the winter. i think i was keeping him a bit too moist through the winter. the rule with paphs is not to let them totally dry out. it wasn't til i repotted him in UNSOAKED bark and watered him once a week that all of a sudden a month later new growth and a spike came up all at once.

Excellent Paul! I've heard these can be very reluctant bloomers. I've also heard the spike on these is very easy to snap so be vewy vewy careful!
