This poor thing hasn't been doing quite well... but it is spiking now. It does seem to dislike cooler weather, at least. Unclear if this is sensitive to water quality.

Keeps losing a leaf as it's developing its buds. Too much stress for this little thing. I've been reading people cutting off a bud to save the plant. Perhaps it is time to nip it...

Nooo... It's quite natural for a growth to start to poop out as the spike develops - once it is done blooming it's pretty much done with the growth, but another (maybe more) will start to develop at that time. Don't be in a rush to whack... let it bloom!

I don't see any new eyes breaking on this one. It's been steadily loosing two leaves since it initiated a bud a few months ago... We'll see how it holds up.

Getting close! I think P. niveum has a reputation for being difficult to bloom. So looking forward to it!

I don't think it's fully open yet. It has a very faint floral scent today.
