My post was based on comments by Sam Tsui (Orchid Inn). They were not specific to any specific species, but general for the multi-florals.
He made those comments in connection with a Paph on the show table that night. It was either a Prince Edward of York (roth x sanderianum) or Michael Koopowitz (philippinense x sanderianum).
I have heard the same general comment from Glen Decker (former owner of Piping Rock Orchids), and have grown the few multiflorals I have had accordingly. And yes, they should have a fairly light yellow-green foliage color.
