First Paphiopedilum
While everything is shutdown in California, somethings are opening up... Here is my first Paphiopedilum. Rather curious things, these!

Very nice choice of paph. Great features all around ... colours, colour depth, and shape.

Agreed. Very nice. Looks like it would taste like a fruit roll up!!
I love the paphs with the dots. They looks like ants doing work

That's a nice one for a first choice. Yes, they are curious things. Remind me somewhat of snapdragons, and some of the carnivorous plants. And blooms that last for awhile... that's always a positive.

Thanks for the kind comments. I've been trying to expand my orchid collection beyond Catts, Onc, and Dens. I'm glad I got this one!
It is a (Paph. Supersuk x Paph. Raisin Pie) x sib.

It's fully opened now. Looks like some cartoon character with the pollinia visible...

I thought so! I thought I recognized either the Supersuk or Raisin Pie or both in there.
