Maybe the glossy/waxy texture of the pouch helps to beef-up the color. It's probably just me... the inkblot (Rorschach) test "thing"... but, the staminode reminds me of a skull without the cross bones.

Divisions completed for one of my wooden growing enclosures (new sliding glass doors were added to the front opening). Humidity/temperature levels are stable, and holding at the ranges I was hoping for.

I can see it.

This reminds me of when I used to stare at stone bathroom tiles (the marbly/granite ones with all the weird streaks) and I would always see a bunch of monsters and strange faces. I was always slightly unsettled. :P

Default New growths repotted

Divided and re-potted my mother plant (cluster) in late winter. Ended up with six pots that are now starting to bloom. This is another small paph that does well in my terrariums (easy and forgiving).

The other wooden enclosure (with sliding glass doors that were added) housing assorted divisions.
