Sorry I can't do a pic - haven't figured out how yet.
Please Help!
I got a new Phrag Olaf Gruss from an online source. Some of the leaves have long yellow streaks on them. Most of these are now turning a speckled brown. Is this serious? A disease? Fungus? Otherwise it looks healthy and I cannot see any bugs.
I have contacted the company but not heard back yet.
Hi Marlena, without a photo it's a little hard. Slipper orchids tend to do this when they don't get enough water, when they get too much water and their roots rot, when the humidity is too low, or when the temperatures are too high.
Use the Search function in the top maroon bar to look up Olaf Gruss, and read how others grow it. No-Pro-Mwa showed us a really nice one, and I think she also explained how she grows it.

I water mine every day if I don't have it setting in water. I wonder if it could be a fungus? I think I have it in a few orchids and I do think I know where it came from. I am sure I promoted it more by not having good air flow in one room but one of the orchids was not with the others and got it and they came from the same place.
I'm going to PM you as I don't want to bad mouth anyone because I'm not 100 % sure. And I love my Olaf Gruss it was crazy it just finally finished blooming about 2 weeks ago. It bloomed well over a year.
