New kovachii hybrid - Mem Mariza Rolando
Hi,
Bought this as a seedling a couple of years ago from Ratcliffes in the UK. It is probably from the EYOF.
Parents are Hanne Popow x kovachii.
I am very happy with this one! It is just under 9cm across so not huge for a kovachii hybrid.
It is flowering for the first time on the third growth and nowhere near full size.
There is a chance that the parentage is incorrect and it could be Graeme Jones ( Barbara Leann x kovachii).

Good color. I hope it holds that shape. So far every kovachii hybrid I've bloomed starts out stunning, and then quickly the petals & sepal proceed to fold and curl and twist into something less appealing.
