Phrag. Shroderae 'Mike Trybu....'

Hi all, I bought the above Phrag. yesterday at Amherst, MA OS swap & sale. Can't wait to see it blossom. The tag is dirty & I can't read or find the complete name. Can anyone help me? LeeB

A previous owner probably gave it his name as the clonal name. There may not be other pieces kicking around in the trade, so unless the namer comes forward you may never know. Sorry.

Hi Lee:
The "Mike Trybus" part of the name is a long time member of the Amherst Orchid Society. Whoever you bought it from probably put Mike's name on it to keep track of who it came from. I hope i grows well for you. thanks for coming to our swap and sale! Perhaps I'll see you at the NH show or our February show in Northampton : -)

Hi Maryanne, it is blooming beautifully. Will post a pic. shortly. The first blossom has fallen & the 2nd is opening. It needs to open fully.
