Help I have 12 phrags which include Grande,Macrochilum,Schroderae, Sedenii and caricinum. Most of them have 4-5 growths on each plant. They are very healthy and med green in color. I have them sitting in about 1 /2 in of water. I fert. about every two weeks (cant always get out there in the green house). I use fish emulsion and regular fert. Some of these plants are 5 yrs old. Do they need to go through a cold spell in the winter? WHY DO THEY NOT BLOOM for me? Thanks Barry

When was the last time you repotted? I find mine do not like stale media particularly when they are sitting in saucers of water. I try and give them an annual repot which seems to trigger lots of growth as well as blooms.

I repot about once a yr with seeding bark,med bark a peralite and small charcoal. Temp in greenhouse this time of yr. is high 80s. They are growing like weeds and the roots are great. I plant them in clear pots.

Try increasing the light. I grow mine in Catt light and the foliage is light green.
