It's a nice Xmas story of orchids being rescued from being bought by someone who might not look after them properly! It's only right that you should do your duty for their welfare They look wonderful! Merry Xmas!

Thanks, Judi! I felt particularly sorry for the poor nursery owner - and I can see why they aren't open to the public all the time! There was a lady there before me, and he worked so hard explaining to her the differences between the ones he had - mostly all Paphs and Phrags, but some Phals, a couple Dens, and a type of Onc. She then says what she was really looking for was "a kind of little green flowered one that grows in water" - so it was back to square one, explaining that these Phrags like to be kept very moist at all times but too much water will rot them, these ones like to dry slightly, etc., etc., etc....

Gave me enough time to look around at everything and make my choices, though!
