Default Cypripedium Pics from this Spring

Hi all,

The New York Botanical Gardens opened up this year a new exhibit; The Native Garden. I really enjoyed it as it reminded me of my time in the Appalachians. Here are some pics of their Cypripediums. They said it was really easy for them to grow these. All they had to do was plant them in some soil where Rhododendrons grow (for acidity and fungus), make sure no roots were damaged in the transplanting, and thats it. They had Cyps growing everywhere.
Guys, correct me as NYBG tags are not always right. Not sure how they could all be the same species.

Cypripedium parviflorum

Thanks all for the comments. If you ever get to NY for the spring, I suggest you check it out.

Those are really beautiful. When I lived in northern California I kept trying to find C. californicum, now that I live down here I've found two places for them, but the climate here is all wrong for them! Great photos, and glad they're growing them so well!
