Hmm, I bought a single growth plant in flower a year ago. It is now sending up 3 new growths at once as well as lots of root growth. I do think these do a lot better under high light. 2000-3000 fc is what is recommended. At first mine wasn't doing much because I had it in a more shaded area. I did a little research on it and realized I probably wasn't giving it enough light. I moved it to my brightest area, and it perked right up.
