.........I just couldn't help it............

"Orchids in the Park" today at Golden Gate Park - the SF local society's annual fall gig. Added seven plants to the collection. I felt that was showing restraint!

I saw this and had (yet another) one of those "I have to have it" moments.

These pictures are not altered or enhanced. It really is *that* red.

The cross is besseae 'Cleopatra' x Mem. Dick Clements 'Intensity' from The Orchid Zone.

Very nice color on that. Jason Fischer is one of the best of the besseae hybrids, no doubt.
