Thank you!

Mine has every single leaf has its tip brown. I think I should begin keeping it almost wet and see what happens.

I keep thinking of switching my Memoria Dick Clements to S/H because my Paul Eugene Conroy seems happy that way. Seeing how you are having results growing them that way I really think I need to.

Looking really good!

Good Job Jim, I've had some struggles with phrags as well for the past 4 -5 years. Just recently moved everything to lecca pellets an water more often with water sitting in trays at base....is this considered S/h? Are you growing in lecca clay pellets?

Brenda;

Yes that is considered s/h. As long as you have some sort of reservoir you're good to go. I use the two holes drilled in the side method as it gives me a little more flexibility. (I'm experimenting with some Pleurothallids in s/h so I've put them in containers with the holes higher up to provide more wicking and humidity.) I also use LECA, either Hydroton or Rays PrimeAgra, which ever I have available at potting up.

Cheers.
Jim

Thx Jim, for explaining further. I also have put holes in the pots about 1 1/2 to 2 inches from the bottom, of the pot so there is a small amount of water that sits in the bottom of the pot as well. They are looking good, so here's hoping I'm on the right track as well now.
