Default Phragmipedium besseae var Flavum

Here is my first re bloom of this classic beauty. I am so pleased that I got her to re bloom for me as I had been told that they are hard work, - not so

Beautiful color and form....its strange that these plants are happy and healthy once you get it on a correct constant regimen; in fact as you leave them alone and dont fuss.....they just bring forth flowers

The way that I care for this phrag is really easy. I potted it in rockwool and that is fertilised weakly every watering and flushed once a month. I place it in a south west facing window and it gets whatever light is coming through the window. I do not heat the room at all. In summer it gets quite warm but in winter it is cold in there. That is it really.
