Default Wedding present from Paphiopedilum callosum

This was few years back now. I dug out the pictures and scanned them. This paph that I had for a while never bloomed for me. The week that me and my now wife were eloping to Rome to get married this paph threw some blooms for us. Almost as a wedding present. When we came back, 2 beautiful flowers were waiting for us. I thought that was kind of cool.

Marty, that looks like something for the gallery. I guess timing IS everything. Gotta go now, I am getting misty!

I am hoping to rebloom these guys in a terrarium. I've got much activity after putting them under compact fluorescent lights. It grew 2 nice leaves, so hopefully something will happen soon.

How tall do the spikes get? And what is the substrate gonna be like for them in the viv? I would love to grow more orchids in the viv.

And its true. ITs soo cool how they bloomed one next to the other like they were trying to tell you something.
