Phrag Bessea var flavum

I've had good luck withy phrag eric young, and I saw this little beauty at the greenhouse today. I thought I would give it a try - is this crazy? Is it much different to grow than Eric young?

If anyone has cultural info, I'm all ears! I just couldn't pass this one up.

I have one in flower at the moment and I have a post on here if you search for another Branching Besseae var Flavum you should come across it. I kept mine drier than usual and I have found that it worked wonders for me. Water at quarter strength every watering and flush on the fourth. Keep it cool and not in very bright light. Hope it helps. Yours is a beautiful colour.

Looks like a really healthy plant - The colour is super!!
Its a phrag, so lots of water low in tds, you should be good to go

Thanks Joann - If I could only figure out a way to make the phrag smell like the double chocolate cookies, I could retire early, I'm sure.

Thanks Susie - I just had the opportunity to read your 'branching bessea' post and what a beauty! I left a note there - I love when these sequential bloomer types support more than one bloom at a time. It's just beautiful.

Ezil - I was in the same boat, until I ate half the tray of cookies. Now I've come to appreciate the calorie-free nature of the Phrag.

Thanks Phragguy. The color really caught my eye in the greenhouse. I don't really have much in the yellow range at home and certainly nothing this vibrant. It really is highlighter yellow.
