Default Phrag Don Wimber (interesting)

This is about as clear an example of this phenomenon that I have ever seen. You probably know that phrags, especially red ones, don't develop red color very well in warm weather. Well, the first flower opened a few weeks ago, when it was nice and cool (not cold... mid 70s). The top flower opened late last week, with the previous week in the mid 90's... Cool.

Do they give awards for "uniqueness"? I think you've got a winner!

Thats very nice, two different color tones on the same plant. Very nice indeed.
