That is gorgeous Rosie. Great growing. I'm dying to have a go myself with these as I love Cyps. Im curious what medium are you growing in?

I suggest you check out the website of Cady's Falls Nursery in Morrisville, VT. They have been cultivating "showies" quite successfully for years and have a section of website devoted to cultivation of Cyp reginae. www.cadysfallsnursery.com

This is growing in fine stones (perlite I think) with a very little bit of bark and peat mixed in. Mostly the stones though.

It needs to be very well draining and they need a lot of water in the summer. I was told by the nursery that the type of medium means you can't really over-water because it drains so well, so to just keep watering them every day to ensure they get enough.
