Very neat! How big is the plant? The notion of growing phrags has crossed my mind, but I think they can be quite large.
Hi BlazingAugust. The plant is not particularly massive but measures from the top of the compost just 33". I have another of these which is in spike so will see how large that one will get -- any larger than the other then I will have to consider letting it go!!
Cody - Don't be put off by their size, there are some Phrags that can almost be considered miniatures. Some small growers that come to mind are fischeri and schlimii. I would definately look into them if I were you.
I don't think so I'm only an extremely recent addition to the NEOS. Though I am more than happy to be a member.
My husband and I were at the recent Show in Barton, where we enjoyed the lovely Orchids on show. So you may have seen us around, but I'm not sure if we spoke. So preoccupied with green things and the wonderful surprise that was the Auction. Couldn't have timed our trip to a show better

Thanks for the reply. I think you were sat in front of me at the recent auction and bought quite a handful of plants. Hope they are doing OK for you. I was sitting with Ron I think I remeber you and hubby speaking to him earlier.

Reason: bad english!!
Ah! So you were one of the naughty ones on the back row!
Yes, bought quite a few lovelies and they seem to be doing all right, so hopefully they will stay "happy" for me. We both remember Ron and his wife, lovely couple and really friendly. Well with any luck we may see you at the show in December (if we can make it).
