Where do you buy your Phrags ?

I see alot of really great Phrags here, and would love to know where members get their orchids from .....
I'm not finding alot of orchid vendors who sell Phrags,
I know of only two that I have used - Piping Rock and Orchid Babies. (Orchids Limited, but their prices are way out of my range for Phrags)......

I don't know of any growers who specialize in Phrags and I don't think I have two in my collection that came from the same source. Seems that they are always found on that 'other' table in Area 51.

Orchid Babies have some nice phrags and many are divisions of awarded plants. If not divisions they were often flask from Paphanatics hybrids.
Only top choice other than the woodstream Is the Fox Valley section of Hausermanns. Nice big plants, mature and nice selection of reds and pastels.

I agree with the Orchids.ltd comment. They are too freeking small and just as much as a full grown mature blooming size plant anywhere else. I do have an Andean Tears kovachi hybrid from them thats doing well, but years and years from seeing what I bought it for. sorry Jason I like you just not yer prices on yer plants.

You might also try J&L orchids as they are over in one of the Carolina's and shipping would not take that long. If you're not concerned about shipping, Andy's Orchids (who always ships 2nd day air BTW) is in California and deals with species only. Another place that I buy a lot of orchids you might check out is Oak Hill Gardens from the Chicago area. The only thing with Oak Hill is that they tend to have more NBS orchids than actual blooming size, but they have good quality and are very helpful. I'm not sure about their shipping time.

J & L Orchids is in Connecticut ........
Oak Hill Gardens does not sell Phragmipediums.
Windy Hill, Fox Valley don't have a large selection of Phrags and what they do have is very very expensive.

I like Parkside Orchids (parksideorchids.com/shopping.htm), however, it doesn't appear that they sell phrags anymore.

Parkside Orchids supposedly will be that National Capitol Orchid Society show and sale, along with Woodstream Orchids, J&L and Fishing Creek Orchids (the website doesn't show him selling, but Stephen Male is doing a presentation). Hopefully there'll be an update of vendors soon. The show is Columbus Day weekend in Oct (The National Capital Orchid Society | Fall Show).

If you can wait until February 2012, you'll want to check out the "Paph Forum" which is in the DC area. Slipper (Paph and Phrag) fanatics from across the east coast come for the show, talks and sales. Here's info from the previous forum:
