Ray is right. The quotes around a name like Geralda usually indicate a cultivar name, but in your case Geralda is the Grex name and so should not have quotes.

Phrag Geralda = Phrag lindleyanum x Phrag caudatum

These are gorgeous pics, and those tails really did drop nicely didn't they.

The name stuff is quite picky. Problem is once you get used to it you start reading meaning into the placement of quotes and whether there are capitals or not. Not to mention that strickly speaking the use of italics also has meaning (should be used on species names and not hybrid names) but most of us here don't seem to bother with that one.

I've picked up the use of quotes and capitals, but I once saw a whole page on how you are meant to write names and I've not managed to take it in.

thanks rosie and yes the tails did nicely
the name games.

I hadn't thought of that, the people who "know" are reading things into the plants names that are posted incorrectly. Thats what the details in the names are for is proper identification Ill work on that page some

in being an engineer and draftsman I got used to using lower case capitol letters all the time..I have to change 35 years of habit now to make orchids happy

Here we are. I had a feeling it was from Ray and I've found the page I remember on his website.

Orchid Naming

He gives examples of Species, Artificial Hybrids, Natural Hybrids, Unnamed Hybrids then some other details of Awards in names.
