Default phrag prince caspian

this ones taken over my tank...

he really needed some water when I brought him home so I put him in the phrag tank and he loves it!! the leaves picked right up and shined. The leaves are very cardboardish If I may. I moved my tiny phrags into some more light and just water them for now. They doing okey but they are dinky inky and Im not ever going to see them bloom. I have no hope for them. They made me mad to start with ..time to move on with a fresh plant and get over it after 6 months of baby sitting.

I re-potted this with fresh angel moss. Im starting to like that stuff. Hes already rising up out of it. Im guessing the roots in the bottom are pushing him out bec the pots full off root and no where to go but up.

Its so hard to tell sometimes how large or small the blooms are when all you see are pictures of the blooms not the plants. I like to show some perspective of this on occasion. These flowers are going to be tiny compared to the plant.

this is an orchid babies model of the hybrid as Ive seen several versions. Dont know what the blooms will look like.

looks like you will have a winner there! dont give up on the little guys they will grow right along, it will take up to 5 years to see the blooms....but have patience!
remember, patience is seldom seen in women but NEVER in men!!
if you get tired of those babies, send em to me and i will baby sit em for you, i do well with phrags in the greenhouse!

Sorcerer's Apprentice is a very large Phrag. with a large flower. When the bud first pops out like that it can look deceiving. After many weeks it will get bigger and bigger. You may be surprised at the size.

I have been waiting for at least 6 years for mine to bloom. I don't even know what it will look like, it was the grower's own cross, labled ? He couldn't remember what he had crossed. I have hope, though, it really looks like it could be thinking about blooming!
