Phrag Sgt. Eric
I recently acquired this plant, already in bud so can't take credit for this flowering. It is my first Phrag to bloom.

Very nice and, if it's you first, I'm sure it won't be your last!

I can't believe they sent it to the auction. Though I am glad they did. All my other Phrags and Paphs are at least a year from blooming. In the meantime I will certainly enjoy this one.

Lovely gloss on that flower, the colour intensity is very good.
Thanks for sharing.

Parents
I was curious to check the breeding as many of these red Phrags have common parents.
Phrag. Sergeant Eric (spelled out - not abbreviated) is Phrag Eric Young x Phrag sargentianum. Phrag Eric Young is Phrag besseae x Phrag longifolium. So, Phrag. Sergeant Eric is 50% Phrag sargentianum, 25% Phrag besseae and 25% Phrag longifolium.
My Phrag After Glo is (Phrag Eric Young x Phrag Sorcerer's Apprentice). Phrag Sorcerer's Apprentice is(Phrag longifolium x Phrag sargentianum). So Phrag After Glo is is 25% Phrag sargentianum, 25% Phrag besseae and 50% Phrag longifolium.
Very similar breeding.
JScott - what is the ns of your flower ?
