Phrag. Paul Eugene Conroy - A primary hybrid and my first ever Phrag

I was under the impression that Phrags had short lived flowers, and that they would drop suddenly with no sign of starting to fade first.

Well neither of these things is true of this one.

The older of the two flowers in this pic has dropped. It DID slowly fade before dropping.

The newer of the two flowers is still there (along with a brand new one). This flower was already open over a month ago when I first bought the plant and it shows no sign of fading yet.

I was expecting it to be much shorter lived from what I have heard about Phrags.
