Love it, Joe! This is one of my favorite Cyps. I've wanted one of these ever since I got into slippers but I'm not confident about my knowledge on Cyp culture. Many things I put in the refrigerator, I forget about.

That's a tiny plant. Never seen a slipper that small before.

I guess its name gives its delicate nature away. "Debil" means "weak" or "fragile" in Spanish, and from what you said, it fits the plant perfectly (though I'm not sure if it means the same thing in Latin).

Yes it means basically the same thing in Latin! This is one of those plants that was named properly (unlike Paph. micranthum ).
