Default My Phrag Waunakee Sunset

Finally clear skies! So nice that I can take photos. I only have my old camera this week, but the photo is still good. I've been on house arrest for the last few days because of snow storm, and fear of being stuck in traffic.

I know we've seen lots of different clones of Waunakee Sunset already. Nothing spectacular, but this is my only red/pink phrag that doesn't want to let go of its blooms, so I have three blooms The oldest one is drying out now, but it will remain attached and brown on the peduncle unlike other Phrags (that drop their perfectly fresh looking blooms).

Nice This one is so variable from seedling to seedling. Yours looks very different from mine. Not just because of the one solid color but also the shape. I got one of these hoping to get something pink like yours but no such luck. Also, mine only blooms one flower at a time

Thanks.

I've seen so many photos of this cross and all of them are different shapes, red, pinks, and everything inbetween

I've seen some bi-coloured petalled ones too. They are still neat. I do not have a bi-coloured-petalled phrag yet!

I love it, Fren. So cool to see more than one bloom at a time.

I love this one, Fren - give it to me!

Yep, its all over the weather, you poor folks west of us are getting just hammered - seems kinda early this year.
Nice mild weather here. We've got some light snow falling now, it doesn't stick around to long looks so pretty. Time to break out the camera after I put my shovels back in the shed.
I'm not bragging are anything, just wanted you to know we're okay over here

Stay warm eh?!

That's so neat to have more than one bloom on the spike. I'm used to the fresh blooms dropping and then two days later the next one opening. What a gorgeous color.
