FANTASTIC

I told myself, "no more Phrags, they take so much room", but seeing this I would give up one of the others for this one if I could find one.

That's really nice! What are you growing your Pk hybrid in?

Do you have a picture of the ebb flow tub thing? Just curious what the whole thing looks like.

It's wonderful. I love the pics, especially the one from the back and the closeup!

This one is so big, you might have to give up two or three others!

The ebb flood tank I have is about 7" deep by 7" wide by nearly 3" long. It has two holes in the bottom/end, and the bottom has two narrow troughs for water to settle into when the water isn't running. I have it hooked up to an aquarium pump, tube into the tank and then another from tank drain into water container with pump. A pic of plants in the tank (doesn't show tank that well) can be found here http://www.cnyos.org/exdisp/phragtank1009.JPG
I bought it at a hydroponic supply store in the area; I needed to put some white teflon tape around the fittings into the bottom of the tank since water was dripping out slowly.
The plant is in seedling fir bark, some smaller charcoal and perlite, and I've added some crushed coral for calcium and pH-raising, and I had also added some slow-release fertilizer pellets to the top of the media this summer.

Your ebb and flow system looks a lot like what Gore Orchid Conservatory does with their Phrags. They call it "Quasi-hydroponics".

Gore Orchid Conservatory - Phrag. semi-hydroponics

Cheers.
