My first Phrag bloom (that I initiated/grew anyways.). Am anxious for the buds to open & hoping for several flowers at once. I like the thin grass like foliage on this plant, a little different than the other phrags I have.

Nice phrag, but unfortunately it is mislabled. Lindleyanum and Hanne Popow will not give an offspring with grass like foliage and twistings petals..

Looks like a pearcei hybrid (or species) though.

.
Jorch, The leaves are grass like (not the flowers), alot thinner than most phrags I've seen. As for mislabled, I don't know maybe, it was sold to me at an orchid show with this label.

Thanks Gloria. Depending on what it looks like in a few weeks I may enter it into the same show where I bought it.(It was not in bloom). Might get booted out....or I might find out the real name...who knows. I will enjoy it anyways!

I agree with the others. It's definitely a pearcei cross of some sort. Whatever it is it's a beauty! Good growing!
