Thats really beautiful! I have a Jason Fisher, I bought it in spike and the buds blasted. I heard that the cooler you grow them, the darker red it will be.
Has anyone else heard that?

Do you know if it is warm tolerant?

I'm not sure if it is. I grow it in a big southeast window sill and the summer temp does not exceed 80F in my room. That's only for a few hours in the late morning. Most of the day, temps are around 75 - 76F in there. The nursery I bought this from has it growing in their cool greenhouse where the summer temps usually do not exceed 80 F during the day. They have lots of phrags, miltioniopsis, masdies, neos, sedireas and dend. moniliforme growing in the same room.

Yes, I've heard that but not that it would be a "darker" red. I read somewhere that the red color is just more intense. So the bright reds are brighter and the dark reds darker. Basically, the color is richer and not as washed out looking. Don't know if what I read was correct though.

Tracy, you DO grow other orchids besides Neos. Great job! My phrags started growing so much better after they struggles a few years. I am sure they will bloom this year.

Yes, dear I have some Paphs too but I've successfully killed off a few of them. One day alive, next day DEAD. Fairly quick and painless, I think.
