Default Flask update

Just thought I'd post an update on the little guys. Here they are after being compotted a month and a half ago:

and today:

Paph tigrinum

Paph tigrinum x adductum

As you can see, the tigrinum grow like weeds, but the hybrid has not been nearly as vigorous. Many of the plants in the hybrid flask were undersized, and most of those have died off. I did lose the two weakest tigrinum seedlings, but I was expecting that. In the future I will request in flask shipping so I can grow them in the bottle a little longer if necessary, I think the hybrids would have done much better with a little more time before deflasking.

If I tried this with Dends they would be dead before I had the agar washed off.

They are looking very nice! Paph. adductum is VERY slow growing (well, at least in cultivation).
