I'm hoping to make it to the next meeting! I wish I didn't live in an apartment, as it's getting to the point where my window area is too full of plants and i'm not allowed to install any light fixtures that can't plug into a typical three prong outlet

Due to the genetic variability, my Waunakee Sunset seedling turned out to be one of the bi color, red and yellow ones, so, not the pink I was hoping for. It is blooming from a new growth right now but I don't have a current pic. The bloom from before looked like this
Phrag. Waunakee Sunset
I originally had them transferred to rockwool when I first got them. They grew fine but eventually I had so much algae and live moss growing on the rockwool, it was driving me crazy. So I moved them to Kanuma pumice. There's a CA vendor that grows Disa in Kanuma pumice and they do well. I didn't like that either so I've switched all the phrags to a CHC/perlite/charcoal mix now. In this mix, they are watered about every 2 days because I have them under my T5's.
All you need is a 3 prong outlet!
You can get a 4 tube 4 ft T5 fixture at a hydroponics store in the Cities. That will plug into any typical wall outlet and greatly increase your growing area. If you need help/ideas about this, let me know. I can send you some pics of my different setups or if I see you at the meeting, you're welcome to stop by and see my grow areas. I can talk to you about the rockwool thing at the meeting too.
