Default Phragmipedium caricinum

It's been in bloom for months! The flowers in succession. Sometimes the plant holds two at the same time for a few days, but it is not common. So, if you like slippers having flowers for a long time, this is your choice (my plant keeps in bloom for three months, more or less, but I heard that it can reach six!!! months!)

I love phrags, and yours is very beautiful! Do you provide this one with a saucer of water to sit in?

I see a few growers doing that, Becca, but I don't do it (we have to give no chance to the Aedes Aegyptii, the yellow fever mosquito...). It is planted in sphagnum in a large plastic pot and this seems to be enough.
