It ended up with five flowers. Sorry the picture isn't great. I had my old camera stolen and was trying to get used to the new one.

That looks great Wendy. How big was the phrag before it first flowered or was it blooming size when you got it? I have a seedling that I've had for almost a yr now and maybe 10 inches high with similar leaf span. Any guesses as to when it might bloom for me?

This is a fairly big plant. I would guess the leaf span at close to 30" although it's deceiving as the leaves flop over...so it doesn't really take up much room. I got it as a blooming size plant but it had almost no roots so i had to wait for a couple years to see flowers. Never did bloom on the original fan but put up a new one and concentrated on growing lovely roots first. The next fan is about halfway to mature...grows like a weed!
