Wow! seven to eight new growths! Phrag Karen Sue
I must have chanced upon perfect growing conditions or something, and obviously, this plant I got from "Etsy" was a division and not a seedling. I saw one growth when I unpacked it, but in the meanwile, seven to eight new growths, and I am pretty sure I will have a bloom. This is a (Red Rocket x kovachii) created by Chuck Acker 2012. Although there are other species involved, the flowers look like Kovachii.
Highly recommended!

May I ask who you bought that from on Etsy?
There are a few sellers there that use KelpMax/Kelpak regularly, and multiple new growths is a fairly common result in well-grown plants that have been treated.

It was Triton Orchids-- Louisiana. The owner is kind of new to orchids according to what he wrote about himself. I am thinking he gets drop shipping from someone and sells them because he generally has only a few each.
My care includes Mycorrhizae, and glacial rock dust as well as few doses of root stimulator (auxins). I used to have your Kelp max. Man, the shipping costs are outrageous though, and I thought you sold your line to someone else.

I have purchased plants from Triton, as well. Michael told me I was the person that got him started in orchids.
KelpMax is available from two sources - Amazon and direct from me. I am the one shipping it in both cases. The price at Amazon is higher because they take a cut, charge for shipping (although it is less than I actually pay), and collect taxes for most states. Order it directly from me and the shipping is included and I only collect tax if you live in NC.
There’s usually about a $10 difference, or more.

Good to know about Micheal.
I bought another plant (a division) from another seller and it is nowhere as nice. So, are you through your website? It's a bit steep but lasts a long time so I will go there next time I get paid. The auxins do help but I used kelp max the last time I had a lot of plants, and I never got growth like this. I think that the reason they are growing like this is that I now have really bright grow lights. I also am using some earthworm casings in my mix. Just a tiny amount.
I forgot to mention this plant is also in bud. I was a bit miffed at Triton, because he bent the leaves over to get them in the box, but the plant was good otherwise. It's a nice Kovachii hybrid because it looks almost full Kovachii. I do not do as well with species. I am hoping this has good leads. I would love to have a large phrag.

Well I'll be contacting him before long.
Well, I've never done it (make the plants happy) before but I have had several happy happy plants recently-- I think I stumbled into somewhere "near" the right formula for making the plants happy happy.
I had to murder a lot of orchids to get here.

There are two types of purchases from Amazon - products that are in their warehouse and sold by them, and those listed on the marketplace, but warehoused and sold by others.
KelpMax, Quantum-Total and K-Lite (in 2# jars; other folks do sell it in bags) are the latter, shipped by me. I don't know how long it takes Amazon to process an order and send out notifications - I get both emails and texts - but I ship the same or next business day, whether the order is through Amazon or my website.

Ray, I am totally Proud Pappa here (even though mama), but I sent the photo to Chuck Acker. He wrote back about how much he totally loved the plant. He named it after his wife. He'd love to make it over but the particular "Red Rocket" that he used is not available to him. He sold it, asked for a piece of it back, and the new owner would not allow it. Quintal issue? (I know this is a person but I want to be cryptic).
Such a sad story. I love Chuck. Have killed a few of his plants too. Not proud of it. -- Katy

Update:
It wasn't Karen Sue. He sent me the wrong plant-- however it is a lovely one. It is Phrag QF Leina’ Ala.
It had a spike with 4 buds (sequential). The basal growths continue to grow. I am wondering if I should reduce the amount?
Here is a picture. It is not exactly what I thought I was getting, but it is nevertheless, highly beautiful and large. Nice color too.
