Well, I received the new Phrag. Was not as happy as I had hoped. The plant is larger than I wanted -- Rothchildianum (phap) size. I thought the pictures were a bit misleading. The leaves were thicker than the ones shown, in the picture, so I thought more of the Perceii was showing. They also snapped the leaves to fit it in the box, and it came very dry. I am getting some new air pots (re-potme) through UPS in a few days. So pissed off at Amazon/UPS fight. So waiting to check the roots. The leaves look fresh and green. No new growths at the base.
Maybe now is the time to learn semihydroponics? Mine do well in that.
LOL! I've been doing semi-hydro since before 2016! Everything I have now has been in semi-hydro for years, I just do it slightly differently (with organics). I joined Orchidboard 2 years before you did. Not that it means anything, but I have done semi-hydro, hydro, and all kinds of other techniques for years.
