Phrag Cardinale

Hi All,

I’m new to this forum but have been growing orchids for about 20 years. I had a greenhouse for about 12 years but now use my windowsills.
I’m trying to find another Phrag Cardinale. I had one for about 10 years but lost it a year ago. Does anyone know where I can get another? It’s still one of my favorite orchids

Hi Cindi, welcome to the forum! I'm sorry I don't know much about the topic; maybe the others have had more interactions with vendors that have this hybrid or specialize in slipper orchids. My one piece of advice would be to attend an orchid show if you can because there will be many, many vendors selling all sorts of orchids, and even if you don't snag a Cardinale at the show it's possible that you can find a vendor who can ship one to you after the show. Cindi - 'Slippertalk forum' might provide leads. Online details indicates Mt Prospect Orchids and Piping Rock Orchids and Seattle Orchids once sold these. Maybe they can provide leads too.
