Default Phragmipedium Coon Creek

Phragmipedium equadorense (pearcei) × Phragmipedium lindenii

I haven't had much time to post photos of things as of late, but I've been wanting to post this one. I purchased this from Woodstream last year. It's using equadorense, which I believe is technically a form of pearcei making the hybrid name Coon Creek.

I love the grassy foliage and how small this plant is. I've added a ruler to the photos for some scale, and then I did a gratuitous comparison shot with Phrag. Wossner Super Grande (largest) and Phragmipedium Mayling Nielsen (medium) since they're all in bloom now.

The flowers aren't as pale as I was thinking they'd be, but for my taste, that is actually a good thing.

Lovely display of all the plants. My new caudatum 'Barbara Ann' x Tall Tails just finished but blessed me with 2' long tails. I may need more.

Very nice. I really like the spots inside the pouch.
