Default ensifolium Fu Xing Qi Dye (复兴奇蝶)

Can't take credit, acquired only back in February. I don't know if this is a clone or if the mutation is stable enough to seed grow (I should ask).

Not having seen it IRL (and only a couple of pics online), I expected the blooms to be slightly larger. Perhaps it has the same tissue mass as others but just looks smaller? It has the same fragrance of my other ensifolium but much much weaker.

...And you can't see them but I fried griddle marks on the leaves again.

Duh, THIS is a division, I can see where the rhizome is cut. But has it been a series of dividing or cut from seed grown? Really, I should ask.

I was told by Ten Shen that most ensifolium are division propagations as it takes years to seed propagate and is difficult. My ensifolium grow 3-5 bulbs per year, they are fast.

This one probably doesn't have a natural pollinator. It's hard to make out, even with a magnifying glass, but the column looks like it might have been wrapped up in the labellum? Can't see the anther cap at all.

I have to get a Fu Shan next!

These are just too fun to look at!
