I know there are some Cyrt x Cym hybrids out there so I guess they're close enough to interbreed.

Beautiful or not, it is not a Cymbidium and I suspect it will not thrive under the same conditions as most of the readers of this forum have. Are you just testing the waters here Isurus?
I am sure some erudite taxonomist with argue with me but call me a purist, that is just my opinion.

You're absolutely correct! Hot and bright (full Texas sun with no shade) to grow these during the growing season and hot, bright, and dry in winter.
