A Cym. Vanna White 'Mana' followed me home today.
Went to HD today to pick up some tools for working on my vehicle and a house project coming up soon.
I was out into the garden area getting a bag of potting soil for some tomatoes and squash that have begun to germinate, when an orchid began following me around the store, jumped into my car and was home before I knew what was going on, a Cym. Vanna White 'Manna'.
It has 8 unopened buds on it.
Pics when they start opening.
Anyone know if this is a warm tolerant Cymbidium?
My area is too warm for it unless it is.
Cymbidiums are normally grown at a higher elevation around here, up around 2k' to 5k' where night temps are cooler.

TheOrchid People is absolutely the best source of
Cyms in the Islands. Not only are Bob and Jennifer, the owners, great for their cut flowers but tops for warmth tolerant Cym. plants. And to top it out, they are most friendly, extremely knowledgeable and at the cutting edge of the warmth tolerant varieties!
I think they just had a big combined sale this past weekend, but get in touch with them and find out what their sale schedule is. I know you will have a lot of plants following you home. After all, you do not want Vanna to get lonely!

Yes, it is warm tolerant. I get them wholesale from a nursery in HI.
