Cymbidium
I just bought a vanna white cymbidium its blooming size .I was wondering if it is fragrant?

Looking online, I did find a reference to the hybrid being fragrant. That being said, you will still have to wait and see. With plants, some traits present in some offspring but not in all. I have a Maxillaria Tenufolia 4N which should have a strong coconut fragrance; its scent is barely detectable if you place your nose directly onto the flower. Through breeding to improve its growth the scent seems to have been crossed out.

Many Cymbidiums are fragrant but just because it is "vanilla white" does not mean it has a fragrance. Hopefully there was a name on your plant. If so, it may be possible to tell ahead of time if there will be a fragrance. If not, you will just have to wait until it blooms. There is also more a probability of fragrance if it is a small flowered plant of Asian species parentage.
