Default My first Cymbidiums in flower

Hi all, just had to show off these three beauties to you.

First one is Cymbidium 'West Down'
Second is Cymbidium Devon Lord ‘Viceroy’ AM/AOS
Third is Cymbidium Gleneagles ‘Cooksbridge Delight’

They are my very first Cymbidium growing.

Beautiful flowers!! Nice job

How tall are the plants of the 'West Down' and 'Cooksbridge Delight'?

I don't own a Cym yet, but have my eye on a few.

thanks for the pix

Chris

Hi Chris, thank you for your kind comments.
The two you mention are approx 30 - 34 inches tall, measured from soil/compost level to the top of the flower spikes.

Well done , you have done well to flower them , now don't leave the flower spikes on for too long if they are first time flowerers. two weeks at most , cut the spikes off and put them in a vase. Oh and don't forget to seal the cuts with a dab of sulpher , this stops in fungal infections getting into the remaining piece of spike .
